Employment Rights Bill nears final stage: Key changes ahead

The Employment Rights Bill is in its final stages in the House of Lords and is expected to receive Royal Assent by autumn 2025 — with some key reforms taking effect later this year and most major changes rolling out throughout 2026 and 2027.

Rolling Thunder – March and Rally – Monday 14th July 2025

From 1500 hours southbound Whitehall will be closed from Horse Guards Avenue for the parade to form up they will then ride, with traffic, via Parliament Street, Parliament Square, Bridge Street, Victoria Embankment, Northumberland Avenue, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall.

Sunday 13 until Friday 25 July A3 Clapham High Street/Clapham Road

From 21:00 to 05:00 each Sunday to Thursday night from Sunday 13 until Friday 25 July, the A3 Clapham High Street will be closed between Clapham Park Road and Stockwell Road.
